This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  Want to take backup of FW config automatically

    Anyone could suggest a recommended document for backing up my FW config automatically?

    We are having Juniper SRX SSG-140 FW. I would prefer to back it up though a linux machine.

    You have a juniper netscreen right ? SSG is a Netscreen not a Juniper. 

     

    You can use some script to do it:

     

    First method is done by scp:

    Second method is by a expect script

    Hope this helps you a little.

     

    You can also start using NSM (Netscreen Security Manager)
