This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  how to config vip from the gui in ssg20 ?

    I see this line in the configuration file:

    set interface ethernet0/0 vip interface-ip 2222 "SSH" 192.168.1.211 manual

    but I can't find this configuration in the web interface.

     

    and second, I don't understand how the firewall know to which port to forward the session to, the "SSH" in this line tell the firewall it's port 22 in the server?

     

     

    Sorry for asking it here, I tried to find that by myself before 😕

    In the web UI these are found under the interface section with the VIP menu.

     

    Network -- Interfaces -- List

     

    Choose "edit" next to ethernet0/0

     

    Choose the VIP menu on the top of the page
