netscreen remote deployment

hi all i need to deploy NetScreen-Remote VPN Client 9.0r4.exe to all our company through microsoft SCM

to do this i need the msi package for this exe and the appropciate switches to be silent installations

any ideas how to do this ?

I don't think there is a silent install for 9.x. But i did find a guide for 8.x. http://kb.juniper.net/index?page=content&id=KB4520&cat=IPSEC&actp=LIST

i see ur point

however version 8 is too old and full of issues that have been solved in V9

do u recommend to use version 8 ? if not how can i deploy the netscreen remote on 200 users ? manual deployment will be a hassle

You should definitely use version 9, no question. I can't find a guide to silent deploy version 9, maybe try following the 8x guide with 9 and see if it works. You could also push netscreen remote using group policy. Keep in mind that users will still need to import the .spd config file even after netscreen remote is installed.

Silent installs are not supported with 9.x.  That is why you don't see any documentation for it.
