    hi,

     

    is possible to restor ssg520 config file into ssg350 with same OS ?

    It certainly should be. Obviously backup your existing config on the 350 - but I have restored across various boxes multiple times. If there is hardware specific configurations they will not move but other than that it should work fine.

    Is is possible to import a Netscreen 25 config file to a SSG-350?

    Hi

     

    Yes

     

    The only thing that can go wrong is if you have statements in the config-file that uses licensed features which you havent' license for in the new device.

     

    Antoher issue could be if you had bridge-group commands in the config and load it onto a device that doesnt' support bridge-groups.

     

    But that is not the case with the 2 models you have mentioned here.

    Also beware of possible differences with interface module/ports and if any, line cards/modules installed on your SSG520 that the SSG350 might not have. 🙂

    i`ve already imported and it works fine 2 minutes job 🙂 lucky there was no cards .
