This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  setup bandwidth (traffic shaping) with schedule

    Hi All,

     

    I was hoping someone could help me on this....

    Is there any way to setup a bandwidth on specific interface/zone with time-schedule i.e  from 8AM-5PM the bandwidth will be set to 1Mbs..

    Hello.

     

    This was my input from a previous post with same requirements...

     

    You can 2 sets of the same policies.  The 1st set will have both traffic shaping and scheduler configured.  Depending on the scheduler configuration, this set of policies will be enabled/disabled -- and along with it, the traffic shaping configuration

     

    If the first set is disabled(due to schedule), then the 2nd set of policies will take effect.

     

    Just need to make sure both sets of policies are the same (service, address objects, etc.).  Not the cleanest way, but I can't think of another way.

    Thanks for your reply. It seems working with the policies and hopefully traffic shaping will work too. I Will test it tomorrow.
