This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  ssg 140 firmware upgrade

    Hi i am running 6.1.0r1.0 currently on my ssg140. I am trying to upgrade it to ssg140 6.3.0r18.0

    Is the firmware upgrade a straight forward process or do i need to upgrade to each higher version like 6.1 to 6.2 and then only to 6.3. Pls advise

    Also if i manage to do the firmware upgrade, i assume the existing configuration remains the same. Anyone who have experienced any issues during upgrade of the firmware ?

    Hi, There should be no problem and configuration remains untouched. But you need to upgrade the signing key before the firmware. Please see the following link: http://kb.juniper.net/TSB16496
