Hey adi - yes - under 6.3 web filtering is supported for user defined objects and includes whitelists and blacklists.

Hey adi - the first thing you need to do is upgrade to 6.3 - You can go from 5.4 to 6.3 - download it from the web site and get it installed. Once you do so you wil have access to web filtering settings. In your current release you need a license key to do anything with it.

No - if you upgraded your SSG5 to 6.3 then you can use web filtering by creating your own rules without having a license. The license is needed in releases prior to 6.3. It provides for integration with third party (Wedsense, SurfControl) databases.
