Let’s look at what the duties of a bouncer are

1. Watch out for potential miscreants and weed them out before they enter the club
2. Continually monitor the club patrons and intervene before a fight breaks out
3. In the event of a unruly behavior, throw the instigators out of the club

What does that have to do with owning a mobile ? Well, let’s pretend that your mobile is the club and the apps are the club patrons and you are the bouncer. What are your duties?

1. Watch out for potentially phony apps and weed them out before they make it to your phone
2. Continually monitor the apps running on your phone and intervene before they do harm
3. In the event that an app starts to misbehave, delete the app from your phone

Now its fair to say that most of us are not good “bouncers” and therefore our mobile devices could potentially get compromised aka our clubs would become uncool and the damages could be significant. If we were to take a more active role and become a top-notch bouncer, our mobile lives would be more secure and our club will once again become a cool place to hang out  !
