As a Juniper SE I like to
discuss the benefits of JUNOS to our partners and customers, explaining how
JUNOS is essentially the Crown Jewels of Juniper
Networks. Lately I've taken to not just running through the
slideware, but logging into the Juniper Networks
software download page and showing them how simple it really is.....
Once you have selected the version of JUNOS you want, you then select the
platform.
Here is...the platform selection screen for JUNOS 9.5.
That's it! The blogs done ...
it's just those 2 steps: 1) select the version you want and 2) select the platform
you want to deploy it on. You don't need to spend tedious hours of trying to
work out all the different downloads you
need to support all your features in all your JUNOS devices. After all, for
most of the world, it's summer!
