Juniper Security Team at RSA 2011- San Francisco, Mobile World Congress 2011- Barcelona Feb. 14-18
For those of us in the security field, 2011 will reveal new challenges for both enterprises and service providers alike. Some of these challenges we at Juniper have seen coming for awhile and others are sure to surprise.
Workforce globalization and workforce mobility combined with growing IT sector concerns about securing highly virtualized environments combined with an increasingly sophisticated and malicious threat landscape have converged to influence the industry to rethink conventional wisdom on the most effective ways to scale and secure the network from the device to the data center to the cloud.
In October 2010, we announced the Junos Pulse Mobile Security Suite, the first comprehensive, integrated software solution on the market to provide both security and secure connectivity for virtually all mobile devices. In addition, we acquired Altor Networks in December to build on their existing partnership in virtualization security and deliver integrated, scalable architecture to both physical and virtual data centers.
Next week, February 14-18, Juniper will be participating in both RSA in San Francisco (Booth #1745) as well as Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (Pavilion CY06). Across these events, we will be discussing the confluence of workforce trends, security concerns, and the emerging threat landscape as well as sharing some of our latest technologies. Juniper’s developments will enable further security of the New Network, embedding solutions at every pervasive security layer to ensure scale, reliability, and flexible manageability. Whether you’re in San Francisco or Barcelona, please stop by our booths and sessions, check out what we’ve been working on, and talk with us about security and the New Network.
