Update on the JUNOS Fast Track Certification Program….

In July, Juniper announced a brand new JUNOS Fast Track Certification Program, featuring a limited-time offer of 100% discounts on all JUNOS Enterprise Certifications.  To say the program was a smash success would be a gross understatement. 

In under three months, Juniper achieved our annual target of 14,000 new JUNOS certifications.  Again, we reached our annual goal in less than three months.  And, thousands more certifications will likely be added by the end of 2009.

We're extremely excited by what that means: The IT community values JUNOS certifications and, more specifically, 14,000 more users have joined our passionate JUNOS community.  We're glad to have all of you aboard.

Due to this overwhelming success, supplies are running low so we wanted to make sure everyone had the following update:

• The limited-time 100% discount offer will end on October 9, 2009
• 100% off vouchers earned on or before that date will be honored for certification exams until November 30, 2009.
• After October 9, 2009 - Juniper will still offer our standard 50% certification exam discount.
• As always, all courseware and pre-assessment exams will be available for free in the Fast Track Program. https://www.juniper.net/us/en/training/fasttrack/  This includes our recently added JUNOS Security courseware and certifications. 

So, we wanted you to know the program is NOT ending.  You still have time to take advantage of the program before the October 9, 2009 end date.  And even if you don't make that date - you'll still enjoy a 50% discount and the free courseware.

The success of JUNOS and our certification program is not possible without you - our community.  And, we want to work with you on this program moving forward.

Same here. Just checked the price of the Junos certification at Prometric and must say it's more expensive than I thought. Even with the 50% discount it turns out to be pretty expensive.

Would be great if the 100% discounted program makes a comeback again (for a limited time) as it would be interesting to learn about Junos.

The standard offer of 50% off on up to 5 different certification exams means that you can earn these certs for approximately US $50 each. Remember, you still get access to thousands of dollars worth of training materials for free through Fast Track so you can still learn about Junos.

With that said, I understand that this may still be too expensive for some of you but right now we have no plans to change the program.
