Regular followers of Juniper and our blogs know the core messages of the New Network strategy is that 1) Networks have gotten too complex, and 2) Unless fundamental changes are made, the economics of operating networks will become impossible for enterprises and service providers alike.

So, earlier today, we launched the “Switch To Juniper” program – a new promotion to help customers cost-efficiently upgrade their core switch infrastructures. 

Beginning today (in the Americas) through September 30, 2010, eligible businesses can purchase new Juniper Ethernet Switches through an authorized Juniper partner and save up to 60 percent off our list prices.  These promotional savings are also available to existing Juniper security customers purchasing their first Juniper Ethernet switches.  Eligible customers in the Americas can save up to 60 percent off Juniper’s list prices on select EX Series switches

This program also streamlines the process that expedites the sales cycle to enable our channel and strategic alliance partners address growing demand for Ethernet switches.

A seemingly insurmountable amount of data, video, and voice traffic is hitting networks – with massive increases – each day.  End users want instant access to information anytime, anywhere.  This campaign is part of our strategy to make it easy for customers dissatisfied with the approach of purchasing more legacy equipment to solve their networking challenges switch to faster, simpler and more secure networks.

Simplifying is the key.  The “Switch To Juniper” program helps realize that goal.
