We just passed the four-year anniversary for the launch of the SRX product line. During this time we have seen amazing adoption for this Junos-based security platform. Through this journey we still have many people that love the little things from ScreenOS. When you’re operating a network on a day-to-day basis the familiar output from a command or the process of how you would troubleshoot something is critical to your workflow.

ScreenOS vs Junos – What you need to know before migrating products

You all know I am a big fan of the Juniper Networks FW/VPN appliances (the old Netscreen firewalls/vpn). This was because of the ScreenOS was very powerful product. Essentially it is an easy and impressive OS, which had unbelievable debug features, but two years ago I came in contact with an even more powerful OS, this was Junos.

This was like a whole new world that had been opened up for me.
