There is a lot of buzz around super data centers, cloud computing, and virtualization. It’s hard to talk about these innovations without highlighting the critical role the network plays in delivering on the promise of each of these advancements in computing.

Today, IBM announced an update to its Dynamic Infrastructure of which Juniper is a critical participant delivering shared vision, technology innovation and a robust product portfolio. Jim Comfort, VP of Enterprise Initiatives at IBM talks about our partnership in this video:

IBM and Juniper also recently cooperated on a demo that vividly illustrated the ability to seamlessly extend private clouds. Hooking up sites in Silicon Valley and Shanghai, we showed how companies can leverage remote servers in a secure public cloud to prioritize critical applications. These capabilities are now being integrated into IBM’s nine world wide Cloud Labs for customer engagements. You can see a slideshow of the IBM and Juniper Cloud Day below:

IBM fundamentally understands the strategic value of the network. And as one of their key vendors, Juniper is committed to delivering joint networking solutions that meet and exceed the most demanding global standards.
