Building the cloud network: adding light relief for service providers 

It should be simple shouldn’t it? One network to meet the multiple needs of the service provider. Well it’s actually a lot more complex than you would think. 

A high-performance network infrastructure should be able to easily offer service providers the capacity to expand the services available to its customers. Service provider pressures have been piling up over the last decade with the need to increase market share and keep average revenue per user (ARPU) high whilst juggling increasing capital and operating expenses.

The online cloud technology is now simply too hard to ignore. Cloud technology has truly transformed the workplace and the solutions and tools employees use. Take video conferencing for example, 79% of organizations report that travel restrictions have increased the use of video conferencing, a tool that relies on the flexibility and speed of its network connection.

Service providers will be able to share these cloud benefits and offer competitive packages to potential and existing customers. However a network will ultimately collapse if these extra bolt ons are added without a flexible network.

The new network provided by Juniper has been left ‘open’ to be moulded and shaped to fit a bespoke purpose. No two companies will ever mirror each others needs exactly and this rationale shouldn’t stop with the technology deployed. This openness gives carriers new paths to innovation, which, when combined with open standards-based interfaces, enable new capabilities such as those required for application-aware networks to be easily activated across Juniper Networks infrastructure.

Juniper offers an application aware network resulting in more efficient network utilization. This single, converged network supports multiple services, helping end-to-end quality and reliability. It sounds better already doesn’t it?

To survive today all technologies should look to the cloud. To fuel high performance within a business the cloud equates to a fully flexible, scalable and secure network for service provider needs.
