It’s one of our favourite times of year in EMEA at Juniper Networks – the ninth annual EMEA Press Summit, which takes place for the second successive year at the spectacular W Hotel here in Barcelona.
For the next two days, we’ll be joined by influential business and technology media from across the region and Juniper Networks executives will be sharing their vision for the future of networking, as well as discussing how Juniper Networks is delivering on its vision for the new network. It’s a perfect forum for debate.
The 12 months since the last EMEA Press Summit have been exceptionally busy. There’s a great deal to discuss.
At Juniper Networks, we believe there are two trends that will shape the networking industry over the next ten years – mobility and data centers.
In February, we announced major technology innovations in these two areas that fundamentally change how enterprises and service providers build and operate their networks.
Over the next two days, Juniper Networks executive team will give insight into how its “connect everything, empower everyone” approach delivers powerful business, operational and sustainability benefits to customers, employees and subscribers.
Upcoming highlights include a plenary session keynoted by Juniper Networks CFO Robyn Denholm, who will discuss Juniper Networks dedication to “disruptive innovation” and give her perspective on how innovation creates better solutions for customers.
Sean Dolan, Juniper Networks Senior Vice President, EMEA, and David Helfer, Vice President of Partners, EMEA will also take the stage to give their views on what is happening in EMEA and how CEOs, CFOs and CIOs are making their networks part of their core business strategies.
Juniper Networks Alex Gray, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Campus and Branch Solutions Business Unit, Mike Marcellin, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Marketing, Platform Systems Business Group and Karim Toubba, Vice President, Product Marketing, Service Layer Technologies Business Group will be present to explain the significance of network innovation, and an inside view into how Juniper Networks is bringing a fundamentally new architecture to the core of the network. Mike Marcellin will be providing the inside track on Junosphere Classroom – a new cloud-based service designed to decouple the educational process from the requirement for physical hardware and infrastructure and last but not least Mike Harding, Vice President and General Manager of the Developer Business Unit, will also be sharing his thoughts on software innovation.
But that’s not all – sessions will be held to discuss two key areas in more depth: data center architecture and mobility, security and social media.
It promises to be an action packed two days!
