    Hello,

Junos Security is a good book which I referred.

    http://www.oreilly.com/pub/pr/2640

Day One cookbooks are good source to master Basics of Junos before going into security part if need be.

    Hi,

If you could afford official course-ware, that would suffice in a testing perspective. As stated above, in addition you might want to refer to Junos-security, but the problem with junos security is it also covers topics which are above your JNCIS level so it prepares you for a jncip in a way. if you goal is to learn JNCIS then probably i would suggest weigh your options.

I have given exam a two days back and i have passed it on my second attempt, so make sure you got your nat, utm and policies are properly learnt.

    Regards

There are free study guides for the JNCIS-SEC exam on the Juniper Fast Track portal.  You can also get an exam discount here.

I think you are referring to the course book store.  This has the same books you get if you take a live clascc.

Search EDU-JUN-AJSEC for the advanced security course.

For a software based lab you can request the trial version of the vSRX

    https://www.juniper.net/us/en/dm/free-vsrx-trial/

For the exam study the fast track link has some resources and should re-launch later this year with study guides.

In the mean time use the Junos as a security language link there and follow the exam outline to make sure you know the topics you need.

The certification page also lists the courses that map to the exam if you have budget to take a class or buy the course books. (link also above).

We are currently working to replace the Fast Track program with an alternate program. It's replacement will not be released until late Q2/early Q3. The exact components of the new certification preparation program are being evaluated. We will share detials of the new program soon!
