    Hi,

I am JNCIP-SP certified and preparing for JNCIE-SP exam. My question is; my current JNCIP-SP certification was expired two months ago and I do not know if I do need to recertify or I can go direct with JNCIE-SP exam. Thanks.

    Regards.

    Hi malmutairi,

You'll need to recertify your JNCIP-SP in order to meet the eligibility requirements for the JNCIE-SP Lab Exam.

Prerequisite certifications for Lab Exams must be in the Active status.

I passed JNCIP-SP exam (recertify) yesterday and I got a different CerManager ID than I have. I am confused which I should use when I do the JNCIE-SP exam. Please let me know how to fix this issue and to reflect the recertification to my original CerManager ID.

Thanks for your support and info.

The rules for advancing and recertification are posted here:

    http://www.juniper.net/us/en/training/certification/already-certified/recertification/

For the JNCIE exam you do need an ACTIVE JNCIP exam for the track.  So you would need to pass the JNCIP again before taking the JNCIE lab.

Inactive One year following the Active period
    • Can be recertified
    • Are not eligible for benefits
    • Do not qualify under the Partner certification compliance requirements
    • Can still be used to fulfill prerequisite requirements for written exams
    • Cannot be used to fulfill prerequisite requirements for JNCP Lab Exams

    Hi Spuluka,

I did and took the exam yesterday and I passed.

My issue is; I got a differnet CerManager ID for the new exam and I do not know how to merge and combine the old and new CerManager IDs.
