JN0-692 test exam question

There is a question in test JN0-692 exam version about as path 2135 55 55 55 55 3796

And regular expression “2135 55{1,2} 3796" is marked as matched the as-path above. Is it a mistake or my misanderstandig of junos regular expressions ?

Because it seemed to me that “2135 55{1,2} 3796" would match just two strings:

“2135 55 3796" and “2135 55 55 3796"

Re: JN0-692 test exam question

I am confused about this too, also 2135 55{1,3} 3796 regex shouldn't match.

Re: JN0-692 test exam question

I have tested this in our test-lab - since it was driving me mad!!

And I could not get an AS-PATH with 5 AS's to match a reg-ex based on {1,2}

{1,2}X is at least one but no more than 2 of X - so I totally agree with you!
