Training and Certification

Hello,

I have JNCIA-M certificate and I want to apply for JNCIS-SP.

I saw in SP R&S Track that prerequisite certification is JNCIA-Junos, but I heard too that I can use my JNCIA-M for this..., is it true?

Your JNCIA-M does qualitify you to sit for the JNCIS-SP exam.  See this main certifcation description page for the JNCIS-SP.

The JN0-101 exam (JNCIA-Junos) is a required prerequisite for attaining the JNCIS-SP credential by passing the JN0-360 exam. For this prerequisite, acceptable substitutions include: JNCIA-ER, JNCIS-ER, JNCIA-EX, JNCIA-M, and JNCIS-M.

Hi Christian,

No, that is an older guide for the legacy JNCIS-M exam.  Some topics in that guide are still present in the current JNCIS-SP exam, but it does not provide full topic coverage.

As per the JNCP Resources page (down in the reading list)..

"NOTE: These study guides were written to support exams that are no longer part of the Juniper Networks Certification Program. Although they do not directly support current JNCP exams, these guides remain valid resources where topics overlap current exams."

I imagine what you are looking for is a single study guide to work from; this does not currently exist for the JNCIS-SP exam.
