JNCP Exam Updates - New JNCIA-Junos exam and Practice Test

JNCP continues to expand our services and offerings.  See recent updates and enchancments below.

Practice Tests

We are pleased to announce that for each new exam we release, we’ll be providing practice exams. Practice exams allow certification candidates to assess their skill level and to identify gaps in their knowledge, before taking the live exam at a Prometric Testing Center. Practice exams can be taken as many times as the candidate needs to in order to feel comfortable with the material.

The first three practice tests are available for the following exams:

• JN0-101 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate – Junos (JNCIA-Junos) exam. It can be access from the JN0-101 Exam Description web site at http://www.juniper.net/us/en/training/certification/junosintro_track.html
• JN0-360 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist – Service Provider (JNCIS-SP) exam. It can be access from the JN0-360 Exam Description web site at http://www.juniper.net/us/en/training/certification/service_provider_track.html
• JN0-343 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist – Enterprise Routing and Switching (JNCIS-ENT) exam. It can be access from the JN0-343 Exam Description web site at http://www.juniper.net/us/en/training/certification/e_track.html

Exam Updates

New Exams

• JN0-343 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist – Enterprise Routing and Switching Exam (JNCIS-ENT). The exam topics are based on the contents of the Junos Intermediate Routing and the Junos Enterprise Switching courses. This new certification will replace the current Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist–Enterprise Routing (JNCIS-ER). 
• JN0-101 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate-Junos Exam (JNCIA-Junos) This new exam is available as October 29, 2010 and it replaces existing JN0-100 exam. The JN0-101 exam includes a refresh of existing questions and has removed the questions that refer to the contents of the Junos Troubleshooting Platforms course that was EOL effective September 30, 2010. 
• The JN0-332 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist-Security Exam (JNCIS-SEC)
  This new exam is available as of December 17, 2010, and replaces the existing JN0-331 exam. The JN0-331 exam includes a refresh of existing questions and has added contents on Unified Threat Management (UTM).
  
  

Retiring Exams

• The following exams will End of Life (EOL) on December 3, 2010.
  • JN0-342 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate – Enterprise Routing (JNCIA-ER)
  • JN0-350 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist – Enterprise Routing (JNCIS-ER)
  • JN0-400 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate – Enterprise Switching (JNCIA-EX)
  • The following exams will End of Life (EOL) on December 31, 2010
    • JN0-202 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate – M/T Series (JNCIA-M)
    • JN0-342 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate – M/T  (JNCIS-M)

The JN0-331 exam includes a refresh of existing questions and has added contents on Unified Threat Management (UTM).

When does this start to get applied? Under the blueprint there is no mention of UTM...

This updated JNCIS-SEC exam, JN0-332, does not go live until Dec 17.  In addition, the exam without UTM, JN0-331, will be available until Dec 31.  We will be posting detialed exam descriptions and resouces fo rthe new exam at least four weeks before the exam goes live.

Hi , Liz Burns,

May I consult you something? I have got the voucher of JNO-100 on September, 2010. However, I still haven't had the relevant test at the moment. But since this test has been retired and replaced by the JN0-101, would you please let me know which test I should have, JN0-100 or JN0-101?

And would you please let me know whether I still could have the test of JN0-100?

Let me guess - you are Canadian???  Like your icon!

The JN0-100 is no longer available and has been replaced by the JN0-101.  We updated the questions and took out some content - otherwise there was no change.  See here  http://ow.ly/33tRe for details on the JN0-101.

Both exams gain you the JNCIA-JUNOS credential.  Fast Track vouchers can be used for the JN0-101.

If JNCIA-ER & JNCIS-ER is being EOL, whats the best apprach strategy for JNCIE-ER?

Is JNCIE-ER going to be discojntinued as well? Are you introducing JNCIE-ENT?
