Sorry to be unclear - you have to haver an "approved" Associate certification to get the JNCIS-SEC certification. For now the JNCIA-ER/EX or M are approved Associate certifications for the JNCIS-SEC credential so you can definately pursue those if you like - while the exam is available..

There is no practice exam currently for that exam. We will create one when we update the exam. However, there is no current date for redoing the exam.

Hi Liz, I took the new JNCIA-JUNOS ( JN0-101 ) pre-assessmnet exam and passed with a score of 90. However, when I received the e-mail from Juniper, the Voucher ID was missing. I've a ticket with the Juniper Training Portal ( # 130267 ) but it's been a few days and never got a reply. I'd like to take the Prometric exam ASAP and I really wanted to get the voucher for the discounted rate. Thank you.

I have read the JNCIA-JUNOS exam objectives. It only lists routing fundamentals for routing part. However in some Juniper books, e.g
Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate Study Guide,
It talks about routing protocols in detail. It has one chapter for each IGP and BGP protocols, so I am confused how much routing protocol knowledge will be tested in the exam. Since this is Juniper book, so I suppose it should be aligned with the exam topics.
Thanks in advance!

The study guide you are referring to was for the now-retired JNCIA-M certification. You can find a self-study guide for the new JNCIA-Junos exam on the Fast Track portal at www.juniper.net/fasttrack.
