We also host a virtual lab here at Ingram Micro (Juniper distributor of the year since 2005) If you are an Ingram Micro customer, please feel free to email a request for a lab login at juniper.virtual.lab@ingrammicro.com

It is currently a work in progress, so any feedback is appreciated.

Re: Juniper virtual training lab

There is a new site online that is providing Juniper Rack Rentrals, Labs, and Videos

You can find it at http://juniperlabs.ca/

You can email them at info@juniperlabs.ca

The current rack that is availible for rental has 4 J2350 Routers, 2 SRX100H Firewalls, and 2 EX4200 Switches

The site is relatively new and content is being updated often

I hope this helps, there sure isnt a lot out there for renting, everything out there I found is very expensive.  These guy are a fraction of the cost.

Re: Juniper virtual training lab

Hi,

I can recommend you Junosphere.

It is a legitimate Juniper Virtual Lab.

GNS3 Olive is not legitimate and violating Juniper EULA.

Here is the link for you if you want to try:

Re: Juniper virtual training lab

Hi. regarding I'm a newbie in Junos world, I did not managed to grasp the Junosphere pricing mechanism. so, for example, If I want to rent 10 device (Router and switch) from Junosphere for a month, how much I will be charged?! and another question, does Junosphere consist of Routers and Switches? tnx.

Re: Juniper virtual training lab

Junosphere pricing is based on "VM units" which can be virtual routers, SRX, switches, Linux computers or some appliances.

One Unit turned on for 24 hours is about $5.

You account is stocked with VM units.

You activate a toplogy using a certain number of units

This number subtracts from your total and is availabe for the next 24 hours  (or however many days you selected at turn on)

Juniper has the virtual SRX series branded as Firefly.  You can download a free evaluation demo from the web site to use for education, lab and testing purposes.  This runs under VMware v-sphere.

Re: Juniper virtual training lab

Hoping someone's still watching this thread/board...

Is the VMWare Appliance Evaluation available to free accounts? I've tried to download it and get this message:

"

You have encountered this error because you are accessing an invalid resource.

If you believe you should have access, please contact Juniper Customer Care or, alternatively you can report the issue on our login assistance page."

I'm not sure if the download isn't there anymore or if I'm not allowed to grab it. I'd love to work with this image... if it's not available to a free account does anyone know where I can find something similar that is?

Thanks.

Re: Juniper virtual training lab

The downloads are not fully public but tied to your Juniper account permissions.  I believe the issue is USA export restrictions on the image.  If you are not in North America you  have to download a "worldwide" image.

Go to the link on the support site and open a "Customer Care Case" requesting the download permissions.  If you follow from the download link it is best as this copies what you want to access.
