My opinion is providing both JNCIP and JNCIE level exam, but DO NOT make JNCIP as the prerequisite of JNCIE. H3C, the 2nd largest switch vendor in the world, now a part of HP, provides a mid-high level lab exam H3CTE and the expert level H3CIE, respectively. This setting could contract more people to study H3C. H3CIE candidates can bypass H3CTE, if they already have relevant skills, and the H3CTE could be a very good choice for those people who have less experience. Thank you for your post. We understand that many companies do not build their certification paths in such a way that they confirm (certify) individuals on the lower level - really the building block - knowledge and skills. The program "assumes" this level of understanding if an individual can pass the higher levels. Frankly Juniper's program used to be designed that way.
