Update on the 50% Discounted Voucher Promotion - Professional-Level Exams

Does that mean we will not get the voucher even though we cleared the S-level exam before the promotion's end?

Are you planning on doing a similar promotion in 2012? If so, are we going to be eligible?

As I mentioned in an earlier post in November, the last batch of JNCIS achievers for this promotion was sent out at the end of October. We ended sending out new vouchers then becuase we felt that people would need up to 2 months to study for the P-level exams. There will be not additional JNCIS achievers added to this program. Also, please note that this program comes to an end on December 31, 2011, and will not be extended into 2012. All vouchers earned through this program also expire on 12/31/11.

I would like to know what is exactly meant by 50% vouchers expiring on Dec31/11.

Is that the last day to appear for any exam using the promo or that is the last day to schedule an exam? E.g. could I schedule an exam with the promo code on 25th dec and take it on jan 10th,2012?

Hi Farrukh,

This means that the last day to appear for the exam is December 31, 2011. When scheduling your exam using your voucher, it is only valid if you are scheduling your exam date on or before December 31, 2011.

Also, please keep in mind that many Prometric testing centers may be closed for portions of the last 1-2 weeks of December due to the holidays. It is best to schedule your exam with Prometric as soon as possible if you intend to redeem a voucher that expires on December 31, 2011.

All it says was since June, and no mention of when the promotion stopped! I've emailed the certification-info team to ask where my voucher was but was told the promotion already ended. I can see what you are trying to do in your email (encourage people to use their vouchers before they expire) but I think the wording could have been improved a little - I got all excited for no reason!

Good luck to everyone who has a voucher and will be taking their exam in the next few weeks though!
