unable Configuring MPLS under Virtual Router routing-instance ?

Hey Guys,

I have an SRX 240 , from which I carved many Virtual Router's. Now I want to bring up LSP's , however i am unable configure MPLS or RSVP protocol hierarchy under Virtual Router Instance. Can someone pls shed some light on this.

By default MPLS is disabled on your router.

This post has some information that might help you out.

Re: unable Configuring MPLS under Virtual Router routing-instance ?

Hi Dalamar,

I have already enabled packet-mode under  on SRX and disable all zone securities.Also i can see protocols MPLS/RSVP  hierarchy in general , but if i create Virtual Router Instance i can only use LDP for  any label switching as all the RSVP related stuff can only be configured under MPLS hierarchy. I am not sure if this is limitation on a Virtual Router Instance or if i am missing something here.

dileep@Inspector# show security forwarding-options
family {
    mpls {
        mode packet-based;
    }
