Can a WLA522 operate as a standalone AP?

As the title states can these access points operate standalone or is a controller required?

Hi,

Yes, the WLC is required.  As an alternative, you can use the AX series and manage using a SRX.

Are there APs that are standalone now?
Thanks!

Michael - Juniper AP's are the Trapeze line managed via the Trapeze controllers or the AX411 managed by the SRX. That is all Juniper sells.
