WLA522 serial starting with KX not working on ringmaster 7.3.6.3

Hey,

We received last week a new shipment of WLA522, their serials all start with "KX". I tried to configure them on different WLC's (WLC200, WLC8) and didn't succeed in getting them to work. All other AP's we have of the MP522 have a serial that starts with "a".

With firmware 7.4 i couldn't see them but in 7.3.6.3 I can see them, but when I configure them, they don't come up.

Is someone else having the same experience?

I've had this problem before. Make sure when provisioning them you are using "WLA522" as the model and not "MP522". I think it will work then. I'm not sure how that interacts with the older code version though as I've mostly been on 7.5 and 7.6.

This was indeed the solution, it was the first batch of WLA522 Ap's we received.
