  • Title: Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Branch Solutions Business Unit Area of Responsibility: Driving Juniper business including strategy, revenue/profitability, products and execution for this segment of SLT's overall portfolio, specifically comprehensive solutions for the small to medium size locations of large, distributed enterprises. Alex joined Juniper in February 2008 after more than five years at Extreme Networks, where he served as Chief Operating Officer from mid 2002 through 2006, and the last year as VP and GM of Extreme's high-end switching business and core engineering operations. During his tenure at Extreme Alex led programs which established essential product lifecycle and quality systems, completely refreshed the product portfolio, significantly improved product and service quality and margins, and streamlined the supply chain. Prior to Extreme Alex served as Chief Operating Officer for LCG Wireless (acquired by ADC Telecommunications), SVP Business Operations for ReplayTV, and earlier spent eight years in various executive roles with Octel Communications (acquired by Lucent Technologies) as CIO, SVP Business Operations, and SVP and GM of Enterprise Messaging. Alex holds a bachelors and masters degree in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
  • Andy Ingram has more than 25 years’ experience in the high-tech industry bringing ground-breaking technology to market. In his current role, he is responsible for driving the marketing and go-to-market strategies for Juniper’s Data Center Business Group. Andy joined Juniper in October 2008 from IGT, where he was the Senior VP of Network Systems. Prior to IGT, Andy held various senior management positions at Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, Cray Research and Sequent Computers, involved in the marketing and sales of servers, storage, system software, security products and application software. Andy holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, a bachelor degree from the University of Colorado, and a CPA license in California.
  • Bob Dix currently serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs & Critical Infrastructure Protection for Juniper Networks. During his career, he has served in senior leadership roles in industry and government, including serving as Staff Director for the House Government Reform Subcommittee on Technology, Information Policy, Intergovernmental Relations and the Census during the 108th Congress. He represents Juniper on the Industry Executive Point of Contact for the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee ( NSTAC ), where he chaired the Cybersecurity Collaboration Task Force in 2009. He served as Chair of the Information Technology Sector Coordinating Council ( IT SCC ) from 2008 – 2010 and currently remains a member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Dix was elected in May, 2011 as Chair of the Partnership for Critical Infrastructure Security ( PCIS ). He also serves on the National Security Task Force for the U. S. Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the AFCEA Cyber Security Committee and Chairs the Supply Chain Assurance Subcommittee for TechAmerica. Additionally, Dix has actively worked to insure and coordinate private sector participation and collaboration with the National Exercise Program, intended to test our nation’s preparedness and resiliency. He served as Chair of the National Private Sector Working Group for National Level Exercise 2011 and 2010. In 2007 and 2009, Dix was honored with a prestigious Federal 100 Award, and was recognized in March, 2010 as the recipient of the annual FCW Industry Eagle Award. Dix also served as a local government elected official in Northern Virginia for 12 years and in his spare time coaches AAU/Travel girls basketball.
  • George is Vice President, Federal Strategy and Business Development. George joined Juniper after 15 years in the Private Sector and an 18 year career in the Federal Government where he was a Russian Linguist, Intelligence Analyst, and Technical Advisor. George and his team are responsible for the design and development of solutions in three portfolios: Cyber Security, Edge & Mobility and Data Center & Cloud and establishing thought leadership and influence for those solutions. Prior to Juniper, George held Program Management, Consulting Services, Sales Leadership, and Business Development positions with a wide range of companies including Northrop Grumman (Logicon), Bell Atlantic, Sybase and Qwest. George was the Chief Technology and Knowledge Officer at an e-business start up, Xspeedium.com, and the Northeast Region Alliance Manager for Qwest Cyber Solutions, an Application Services Provider.
  • Gerri Elliott is Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer of Juniper Networks. She is responsible for driving the operational and strategic elements of Juniper’s field execution capabilities on a global basis. She joined Juniper Networks from Microsoft, where she was corporate vice president, Worldwide Public Sector organization, leading a team of more than 2000 sales and marketing professionals serving government, education and healthcare customers in more than 100 countries. At Microsoft, Ms. Elliott was also co-head of the company's North American subsidiary where she developed and implemented a global strategy to establish Microsoft's first industry vertical sectors including telecommunication, financial services, public sector, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, and media and entertainment. Prior to Microsoft, Ms. Elliott spent 22 years at IBM, where she held several senior executive positions in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Gert-Jan Schenk joined Juniper Networks in 2002 as VP Channels for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In January 2006 Mr. Schenk was promoted to his current role, where he has responsibility for the sales execution (enterprise and service provider) and performance of Juniper throughout the region, including ultimate responsibility for the company’s one- and two-tier channel. Mr. Schenk has over 20 years of experience in sales and channel management roles in enterprise networking and the telecommunications industry. Prior to his current position Mr. Schenk was VP Channels at Unisphere Networks which was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2002. Other positions he held include Director of Channel Sales EMEA at Redback Networks and Regional Sales Director Central and Northern Europe for Madge Networks.
  • John Moore leads the Juniper Marketing team for Financial Services. After helping open the industry selling strategies and teams at Sun Microsystems and Cisco Systems, this is an exciting time to bring that experience to Juniper's customers. Technologies like QFabric, Junos Pulse and Cloud Security solutions have a chance to radically transform the Financial Industry into a more real-time, indsutry, while providing the Governance, Risk and Controls to add stability at the same time.
  • Kim Perdikou, Executive Vice President, Office of the CEO. Kim Perdikou joined Juniper Networks in August 2000 and currently focuses on developing and deepening Juniper’s relationships with service provider customers and partners, as well as key strategic projects that further Juniper’s global market leadership. Prior to this role, Ms. Perdikou served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Juniper’s Infrastructure Products Group (IPG) and was also Juniper's Chief Information Officer. Before joining Juniper Networks, she was Chief Information Officer at Women.com, where she built the IT infrastructure and sales operations function. Ms. Perdikou was also Vice President of Global Networks at Reader's Digest for six years and held leadership positions at both Knight Ridder and Dun & Bradstreet. She holds a bachelor's degree in computing science and operational research from the University of Paisley in Scotland, and two master's degrees: one in education from Jordanhill College in Glasgow, Scotland, and a second in information systems from Pace University in New York.
  • Lauren Flaherty, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Lauren Flaherty oversees the full breadth of the Juniper Network's global marketing activities. Prior to joining Juniper, Ms. Flaherty served as CMO of Nortel Networks from 2006-2008. While at Nortel, she created a fully integrated marketing function that represented all lines of business, and created Nortel's first Global Marketing Board, which enabled the development of marketing investments that were fully aligned to sales and the company's strategic objectives. Ms. Flaherty also led many of Nortel's strategic business initiatives, including the company's first global Enterprise campaign, leadership of the company's green marketing initiatives and its bids for sponsorship of the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Olympic Games. Prior to Nortel, Ms. Flaherty spent 26 years at IBM in a variety of product marketing leadership positions, including software and servers. She also led many company-wide initiatives, such as Solutions for a small planet, e-business, on demand business, and marketing targeting key segments for small-and-medium businesses (SMBs). Ms. Flaherty has been recognized three times by BtoB Magazine as one of the "World's Best Marketers" and was named to the Women's Executive Network Top 100 in 2007 and 2008.
  • Liz King is a veteran in the information technology, public sector and telecommunications industries with over 20 years of experience in over 30 countries in sales, general management, product management, services, marketing, supply chain, and operations. As Vice President of Juniper's Global Alliance with IBM, Liz is responsible for all aspects of Juniper’s alliance with IBM, driving strategic growth, multi-dimensional initiatives and global reach of this multi-million dollar business. Liz joined Juniper in June 2010 from Hitachi Data Systems, where she was VP & general manager of the Hitachi Server Group. In that role, King was responsible for sales, marketing, operations and customer delivery of Hitachi servers & solutions. Prior to Hitachi, she was VP of Strategic Alliances at Alcatel Lucent. Earlier in her career, King held senior executive positions at Sun Microsystems, Raytheon Company and Texas Instruments with specialties in international sales, business development, product management, and services. Liz has a MBA with honors from the University of Dallas and a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
  • Manoj Leelanivas serves as Executive Vice President of the Junos Application Software (JAS) Business Group, focused on the advanced applications that run on Junos, including mobility, content and media, router services, and cloud services innovations. An 11-year Juniper veteran, Mr. Leelanivas previously served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Junos Ready Software (JRS) Business Group, dedicated to the creation and delivery of an ecosystem of software and applications built on the Junos and Junos Space platforms. Additionally, he was responsible for notable progress in Juniper's Project Falcon mobility initiative. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Edge and Aggregation business unit for the Infrastructure Products Group (IPG), where he led the development and launch of Juniper's groundbreaking MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers. During his tenure at Juniper Networks, Mr. Leelanivas also served as the Vice President of Product Line Management and Marketing within IPG, responsible for the core, edge and aggregation router product lines, and as Vice President of Engineering in IPG, responsible for Junos development. He also led various engineering, product management, and marketing groups. Prior to joining Juniper Networks, Mr. Leelanivas was at Cisco Systems for seven years, where he was involved in various initiatives in routing and voice technologies. Mr. Leelanivas holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program.
  • Mike Marcellin is Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for Juniper Networks Platform Systems Group (PSG), maintaining responsibility for business strategy and marketing of Juniper’s industry-leading portfolio of high performance routing, switching, and data center fabric products, as well as the company’s groundbreaking Junos operating system and best-in-industry silicon portfolio. Marcellin’s team is responsible for business strategy and product marketing, go-to-market planning, sales and customer education and competitive analysis worldwide. PSG is a nearly $4 billion annual business that includes Juniper’s best-in-class core and edge routing solutions that serve the top global service providers, content providers, as well as enterprises that require high performance networking to power their business. These routing systems also serve as the platform for Juniper’s emerging software and applications business, including advanced mobility, video, and security solutions, automation of network tasks to reduce operating expenses, as well as the delivery of value-added services. The PSG portfolio also includes the EX line of switches, a broad wireless LAN portfolio from Juniper’s acquisition of Trapeze Networks, the SRX integrated branch routers, and the groundbreaking QFabric solution for the Exponential Data Center. Together, these systems make up a comprehensive, end-to-end enterprise networking portfolio designed to change the user experiences and customer economics of networking. A Rodman Scholar at the University of Virginia, Marcellin received a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Systems Engineering. Marcellin is based in Sunnyvale, California.
  • Mike Rose joined Juniper Networks in November 2008 as the Executive Vice President of Service, Support and Operations. Most recently, Rose was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Royal Dutch Shell, a super-major energy enterprise. At Shell, he led a 10,000 person service and IT group. Prior to Shell, Rose had a 23-year career at Hewlett-Packard (HP) in roles across finance, IT and field operations. He became HP's Chief Information Officer in 1997 and was named an HP Vice President. In 2000, he was elected an officer by the Board of Directors of HP. Rose holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from the State University of New York at Geneseo, N.Y.
  • Nawaf is responsible for Juniper's security business including the overall strategy and execution.
  • Raghu Subramanian is VP of Sales Engineering for Asia-Pacific at Juniper Networks. Prior to this, he has served Juniper as chief strategist for the security business, product evangelist to channel partners, and product manager for M-series routers. In past lives, Raghu was a chip designer at Hewlett Packard, and an R&D manager at a start-up acquired by PMC-Sierra. Raghu has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California at Irvine, and a B.Tech.in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur. In his spare time, he enjoys reading non-fiction, coaching kids for the Math Olympiad, and traveling with his family to other countries to learn about their ways.
  • Stefan Dyckerhoff is Executive Vice President of the Platform Systems Division, responsible for development of Juniper's industry-leading routing platforms, and integration of systems and silicon development across the full range of Junos-based platforms. He brings more than 14 years of experience in defining, developing, and bringing to market leading-edge networking products. Previously, Mr. Dyckerhoff served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Infrastructure Products Group (IPG), where he was responsible for driving business growth, strategy, innovation, and product development for all of Juniper's routing products, including the T Series and MX Series. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the High-End Systems Business Unit (HSBU) at Juniper Networks, where he was responsible for the service provider core business. In addition to overseeing the T Series Core Routers and JCS product lines, he also set the overall core routing, transport, and optical strategy for the company. Prior to re-joining Juniper, Mr. Dyckerhoff served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Edge Routing Business Unit (ERBU) at Cisco Systems, where he was responsible for managing a multi-billion dollar product portfolio targeted at both service provider and enterprise markets. He also served as the executive sponsor for some of Cisco's biggest customers, and was an executive member on several Cisco cross-functional boards in the areas of service provider infrastructure, mobile Internet, enterprise architecture, and security. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Dyckerhoff was a member of Juniper Networks founding engineering team as employee number 33. During this time, he held multiple leadership positions in engineering and product management, and was credited for bringing the T Series to market and driving significant market share gains in the service provider core. As a senior engineering leader, he held technical leadership and senior management positions focusing on chip development and system architecture. His manifold technical and leadership contributions included three generations of Juniper packet forwarding ASICs and filing seven patent applications. (Six patents have been granted.) Mr. Dyckerhoff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Duke University and a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
  • Taras Matselyukh - Seasoned Telecommunications Professional with 16+ years of experience in Design, Implementation, Management, Operations and Analysis of complex NGN Telecom & IT Systems. Taras has been with Juniper Networks since 2001. During his tenure with Juniper, he has been responsible for opening and running a Proof of Concept Lab in Amsterdam, then supporting EMEA region as a Consulting Systems Engineer. Currently, Taras is creating new architectures for demanding business services solutions for business service providers that deliver more compelling offers to their enterprise customers. His goal is to ensure that Juniper Networks can help our service provider customers to deliver standard offers more effectively, build new offers that set them apart from their competition, and evolve away from simple plumbing services to the realm of guaranteed assured service delivery. Taras holds degrees in electronic engineering and economics from Kiev State University, UA.
  • Mark Bauhaus is Executive Vice President of Services, Support and Operations. He joined Juniper Networks in September of 2007 as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Service Layer Technology (SLT) Business Group, which was later realigned into the Device and Network Services (DNS) Business Group under his leadership. Before coming to Juniper, he established Bauhaus Productions Consulting after serving for 20 years at Sun Microsystems in a range of executive level assignments, most recently as Senior Vice President of Service-Oriented Architecture Software. In that role, Mr. Bauhaus led one of the fastest growing software segments at Sun, managing the acquisition of SeeBeyond Inc., as well as Sun's identity management, infrastructure, and web services software operations. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Java Web Services where he was responsible for Sun's enterprise software business, and Vice President and Founder, Global Dot-Com, which delivered high-end software architectural consulting services. Mr. Bauhaus started his career as an environmental engineer for HP, and holds a bachelor's degree in business management and environmental systems analysis from the University of California at Davis.
