IBM & Juniper Momentum in Healthcare Continues: June 14th Chicago Healthcare IT event

IBM and Juniper Networks continue to build momentum together in the healthcare industry.  You can learn more by attending an IBM Smarter Healthcare seminar, entitled “Redefining Value and Success in Healthcare” on June 14, 2012 in Chicago, IL at the IBM Innovation Center and Healthcare Transformation Lab. Dan Pelino, General Manager, IBM Global Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry, will host the event.

 

In February, we shared with healthcare IT executives in attendance at HIMSS 2012 the news that Juniper’s Secure Clinical Mobility solution was validated for the IBM Healthcare Information Framework (HIF).  At the Chicago June 14th seminar, Ryan Witt, managing director for Juniper’s healthcare sales, and will demonstrate this Secure Clinical Mobility solution.

 

We will also participate in demonstrating a new second solution, the Critical Care Telemedicine solution.  IBM, Polycom, and Juniper have jointly contributed to this solution, whereby IBM implementation services have been combined with technology components from Polycom and Juniper.  The combination provides high quality video performance without driving significant bandwidth requirements.

Liz joined Juniper in June 2010 from Hitachi Data Systems, where she was VP & general manager of the Hitachi Server Group. In that role, King was responsible for sales, marketing, operations and customer delivery of Hitachi servers & solutions. Prior to Hitachi, she was VP of Strategic Alliances at Alcatel Lucent. Earlier in her career, King held senior executive positions at Sun Microsystems, Raytheon Company and Texas Instruments with specialties in international sales, business development, product management, and services. Liz has a MBA with honors from the University of Dallas and a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
