Gert-Jan Schenk joined Juniper Networks in 2002 as VP Channels for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In January 2006 Mr. Schenk was promoted to his current role, where he has responsibility for the sales execution (enterprise and service provider) and performance of Juniper throughout the region, including ultimate responsibility for the company’s one- and two-tier channel.
Mr. Schenk has over 20 years of experience in sales and channel management roles in enterprise networking and the telecommunications industry. Prior to his current position Mr. Schenk was VP Channels at Unisphere Networks which was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2002. Other positions he held include Director of Channel Sales EMEA at Redback Networks and Regional Sales Director Central and Northern Europe for Madge Networks.
