About me
I am a Distinguished Engineer with the J-Security Research Lab, http://www.juniper.net/security/contacts/. My primary focus is on the IDP product, where I ensure that the latest threats and vulnerabilities are being successfully detected and blocked. This involves making sure the right signatures are being released daily and long-term design, making sure the next versions of IDP contain the right features. I have been involved with the IDP product since 2001, when it was being first developed at OneSecure. I am also the technical editor and co-author of the O'Reilly book "Security Power Tools".
