Graph generating affecting connectivity

‎11-01-2009 08:17 PM

Hi

Currently if we wanted to open graph at site office SX-20, we notice it was slow to generate

We then ping to the remote router, it got timeout while generating the graph

Once generating graph completed, ping ok, no timeout but there is no graph display

In the log, we notice these errors

Remote: Single collision count: 1

Local : Single collision count: 11

Remote: Single collision count: 1

Local : Single collision count: 20

I'm not worried by these low collisions, however please do go ahead and check 100% that you speed/duplex is set correctly on the router/firewall - WX - switch....On a 128Kbps it may take a bit for the JVM to load and download the applet used for the graph.

Hi

User tested with 1 of the unit which has the port set to Auto (100Mbps full duplex) on local and remote but also facing the same issue even though there is no collisions detected on the log

When generate graph, we got timeout to the branch router & no graph created

If you have the WX set to auto can you confirm that the switch/router/firewall that we plug into also defiantly has its speed/duplex set as auto?

The scenario you show is VERY typical to speed/duplex renegotiating.
