Hub-and-Spoke topology

‎02-03-2009 03:55 AM

What is exactly advertised between WX devices in a hub-and-spoke topology, does each spoke nows about other spokes advertised subnets or all these subnets are advertised only to the hub.

Does every spoke know the advertised subnets beneath other spokes ?

Also when a spoke needs to send traffic to another spoke how does it deal with this traffic , does it open a tunnel with the hub then the hub opens a tunnel with spoke?

kindly i need all information related to hub-and-spoke topology and its working mechanism.

best regards.

Take a look at the thread labeled Traffic between Spok  - will answer several of your questions. Fire away with any new ones after reading that one.
