I'm facing a typical problem with some of Lotus Notes users, who are unable to access mails after changing the password which compression is enabled in WXC 2600. If compression is disabled it works fine.
This looks like a good candidate for a JTAC case. But since I have seen a similar issue in the recent past, I would like to think that is not WX that is causing problem but the Lotus Notes (Domino) server may be responding with a wrong ACK number. Please do a packet capture with and without WX in the middle and compare the capture on the client PC (Lotus client) and server PC (Lotus server) in both conditions. You might find that when WX is present in the middle, the server responds with a wrong ACK number. We don't know why that happens but WX does not do anything to the packet except extracting MSS TCP options and stripping off everything else.
So please confirm if you notice that difference in the packet captures with and without WX. If that is the case then you'd have to get someone who is knowledgeable in Domino servers and investigate why the server responds in such a manner. There is nothing WX can do in that situation.
But if that is not the case then please open up a JTAC case and let them troubleshoot for you.
Hope that helps.
