ToS/DSCP functionality when exceeding license

[ Edited ]

The documentation states clearly that no compression will be done when the throughput goes over licensed limit but what happens with ToS/DSCP marking, is this function continued or does the marking gets ignored also?

Hi,

When the Compression traffic License exceeds, then the flow will be handled as Passthrough.

The ToS/DSCP markings configured in the QoS  will not be  ignored. The traffic (Application Definition configured under a Traffic class in QoS) will be treated  as a Passthrough traffic instead of Compressed traffic. No other changes will happen.

I hope this clarifies your queries.

Thanks,
