disk1 error

hi experts,

what does the error message 'disk1 error' mean?

This error is being detected on one of our remote branch WXC 1800 with the following info.

Software version: 5.7.1.1
Model No.: WXC-1800 - v1.0
Link-switch: HW version 1, SW version 16

 

How do I resolve the problem?

Hello,

 

Try the below command, ideally run them from a SSH session or the console.



# copy cfg/startup.cfg protect.ovr
# rm cfg/disk_status.txt
# reboot -no-resync

 

 

Note: The last command obviosuly reboot the box

 

 

If this doesn't do it, then the box may will needed to be RMA'd . I'll cross my fingers that this is not the case!

 

Also, please upgrade from 5.7.1.1 to 5.7.2........note maintenace fix 5.7.3 is released this weekend.

Thanks Danny.

 

I would do what you suggested here, but unfortunately, our consultants advice the unit was RMA'd. We replaced it with a new one.
