Juniper Community Mobile application

‎01-08-2014 10:42 PM

Dear Moderators

Do you have any plan to release new application for Juniper application for smart phones , I know , there is a specific web version for mobile devices , but it is not practical , and moreover notification are sent by email, which delay my replies to posts,  I prefer using Juniper Community application better than using web browser.

Regards

The J-Net Community runs on the Lithium Platform and there is a mobile version that is detected automatically by your device or you can switch to viewing the full version. Can you elaborate on why you don't think the mobile version is practical? You can post, reply, comment and most everything else on the mobile version that can be done on the full version on your computer.

Also, with regards to email notifications you can reply directly in the email which are sent instantaneously when someone posts or replies and it will automatically post on the forum.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Well, I can tell you one pet peeve of mine about the mobile. On the main forums screen it shows total posts. It does not show unread posts. I know space is limited - but if I had to choose I would take unread over total any day. I could less how many posts are in a specific forum. I want to know if there is anything new. Being able to choose what is displayed would be great.

Hi Jewels

the web mobile version is great for me , just I would prefer it to be in separate application like faceboot/twitter ..etc , when there is a new reply on my posts , I would see a small sign/ (count would be better) on the application icon , so I can do one click to participate.

the email notifications doesn't show what was the reply , so I need to click on the link and then sign-in , and then reply

in addition , I suggest to add new small feature , sometimes , I found a subject interesting to me and not able to reply , if you add "Like" or "Follow" , I can follow any new update on this post without posting any reply
