Question about support

Hi,

i'm new to Juniper. When you need to purchase JTAC and RMA support, which part numbers do you use if the devices are different?

Other vendors have this in their datasheet but Juniper has none.

Another question is, does Juniper have a hardware configuration builder like Cisco for example?

Hi,

 

Regarding the support, ideally it would be the Chassis SN used and the an install base has to be updated with the parts related to the Chassis Id registered to have the contract active for the rest of the parts.

 

However, for more information regarding the service contracts, Configuration services, suggest you to reach out to the local reseller or Partner.

Ye i've seen those documents, but how do you do it when you have to build a Bill of Materials and you need to account for the support?
