Statement Regarding Tariffs on China-Origin Products
May 17, 2019

The White House has announced an increase in tariffs on China-origin products imported into the U.S. from 10% to 25%, effective Friday, May 10, 2019.

Following suit with our current practice and others in the industry, we will continue to pass along the tariff costs to our partners and customers as an additional import tax charge. This charge is transparent on our quotes and invoices for impacted China-origin products arriving in the U.S. Beginning May 20, 2019, the import tax charge is expected to be 10% net for impacted SKUs.

We have and will continue to aggressively implement changes to our global supply chain to minimize the impact of tariffs while upholding our competitive pricing and value to our customers and partners. We continue to evaluate our approach and modify as necessary, as official changes in U.S. Government policy evolve.

Juniper hopes that the need for these tariffs is reconsidered because of the far-reaching, adverse impact these additional economic charges may have on U.S.-based businesses.
