Experts,

We use Aerohive wireless as access points for our Ipads and macOS devices for Apple TV (Air Play) of course with Juniper EX 2200,2300,3300,3400 as IDFs and 4300 as main MDF. 

On all of our IDFs I have:

inactive: igmp-snooping {
vlan all;
}

on my MDF I have:

inactive: igmp-snooping {
vlan all;
}

Bonjure gateway is set up on Aerohive with services 

allowing these vlans 24,25,180,115,40,160 see APPTV so ipads connected to any of these vlans can use AirPLay. Only one vlan 115 is discoverable now in 24,25,180,40 - but If I want to connect APPTV to any of these 24,25,180,40 I dont see APPTV when ipad connected to any of them - unless APP TV and Ipad is on the same vlan. I dont see any settings on Aerohive so I believe this is network issue. Any help appreciated. 

You need to enable multicast routing in order for AppleTV (or any other device using bonjour--224.0.0.251?) to be reachable across subnets.

I think I should have IGMP enabled

sorry - based on the resarch it shpould be disabled - this is so confisuing - one site is sayiong turn on IGMP snooping but other says something a way different - 

ALl anserws wrong - IGMP MUST BE DISABLED on all IDFs and MDFs in order Bonjure Services work corectly between Juniper and Aerohive Bonjure gateway. Already tested and works like a charm. Inactive IGMP is the the only thing !!!!!!!
