  • 1.  Backup System process in EX series Switches

    Hi Everyone

     

     

    Please let me know if there is possibility to configure backup system process such as ewsd , chassisd , rpd etc so that in case of primary process failure the backup will continue in operation.

    Hi,

     

    It depends what you want to do.

     

    You can provide redundancy running two (or more) EX switches in a virtual-chassis

    Some EX switches (EX6200, EX8200, EX9200) have redundant routing-engines.
