Chassis Temperature readings

‎01-30-2020 10:00 AM

Has anyone automated a way to get the rolling temperature of the CPU and PSU measurement.?

I would really like a graph or spreadsheet of this value, in our EX2300-48P switches.

Thanks

Hi Starlog,

You can use SNMP to collect CPU and PSU measurements and use any of many available systems (like Cacti for example) to present collected data in graph form.

Thanks,

Deimos.

Hi starlog,

You can use different tools to monitor the chassis, like Cacti, Solarwinds, etc, also you can use a freeprogram called PRTG (I personally use for in case I need to monitor a device in real time ), this uses sensors(a fancy way to call objects Smiley Happy ) , all you need to do is to add the IP device into the program, enable the sensors(you have limited sensors with the free program) , but it should be enough for your test, make sure you enable SNMP, that way you can collect all data you need.
