Hi,

MAC add/delete messages which are used for debugging are seen in the log file due to default level set as "Info". These messages are seen when there is addition or deletion a MAC. These messages are harmless and are used for debugging.

Example of log messages:
****************
%PFE-3: fpc0 LBCM-L2,pfe_bcm_l2_mac_delete(),848:l2_mac_delete: Iterating BCM units: 0 hw-tok 3 mac= F4:15:63:1A:AC:01
%PFE-3: fpc0 LBCM-L2,pfe_bcm_l2_mac_add(),735:l2_mac_add: BCM unit: 1 hw-tok 3 Success add mac= F4:15:63:1A:AC:01
****************

Here is known PR against these logs:

Addtionally, you can filter these messages in order for the device to ignore/do not log those messages using KB#22177
https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB22177&actp=METADATA

What do i remove to stop that logging?

    syslog {
        user * {
            any emergency;
        }
        file messages {
            any notice;
            authorization info;
        }
        file interactive-commands {
            interactive-commands any;
        }
        inactive: file default-log-messages {
            any any;
            match "(requested 'commit' operation)|(copying configuration to juniper.save)|(commit complete)|ifAdminStatus|(FRU power)|(FRU removal)|(FRU insertion)|(link UP)|transitioned|Transferred|transfer-file|(license add)|(license delete)|(package -X update)|(package -X delete)|(FRU Online)|(FRU Offline)|(plugged in)|(unplugged)|cm_device|(Master Unchanged, Members Changed)|(Master Changed, Members Changed)|(Master Detected, Members Changed)|(vc add)|(vc delete)|(Master detected)|(Master changed)|(Backup detected)|(Backup changed)|(interface vcp-)|(AIS_DATA_AVAILABLE)";
            structured-data;
        }
    }

add  "!(.*pfe_bcm_l2_mac_add.*)" to match  list. or create a new file. Follow steps as KB22177 states:

https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB22177&actp=METADATA
