HTTP access on core switches

‎05-28-2014 02:41 PM

I am having an issue with http access on my core switches.  I have a network that consists of two main cores (EX4500) and 7 building cores (EX4200-24F).  The edge switches in each building consist of 1-5 EX4200-48P switches in virtual chassis.  I can access the web interface on all of the edge switches, but not on any of the cores.

Has anybody seen this issue, or have any information on how to correct it?

DAK

Did you configure web-management under System Services Web-management?  I'd start there.

Yes, the management VLAN has http access enabled.  As I said, it works fine for all of the edge switches, but none of the building cores, or main cores.

Maybe any filter blocking unathorized http access?

Can you do a monitor traffic interface and see if you are getting the http requests?

Delete and add back the web-management configuration and see if that worked or not.
