There is a issue between Juniper and Cisco regarding lacp and portchannel.
set interfaces ge-1/1/1 gigether-options 802.3ad ae55
After replicating the same config on another Juniper MX960 Junos 14.2R6.5 using a different ae -> ae91 connection wont come up:
Connection is working without using portchannel and LACP.
Can someone help with that ?
Did you configure ae interface count to 92 as you are using ae91?
set chassis aggregated-devices ethernet device-count 92
Please share output of below mentioned commands:
show lacp interfaces
show lacp statistics interfaces
I will upload the outputs shortly.
meanwhile when interogating the interface it appear as "active" does it mean that the command was allready entered ?
This might be a LACP issue, you can try doing :
show interfaces ae92 extensive >>>> we need to check if the system ID is seeing with the nexus device.
show lacp interface ae92
show lacp statistics interfaces ae92 >>>>>>>> we need to check if we are sending or receiving LACPDUs.
Try removing LACP and see if the AE92 comes up, then try ping connectivity and check if that works, if so, this might be an LACP issue between Juniper and Nexus.
Also, I’m curious about your AE92 configuration, can you associate a vlan-id to the AE92 ?
Please mark my solution as accepted if it helped, Kudos are appreciated as well.
Do you have LACP enabled at Nexus ?
[KUDOS PLEASE! If you think I earned it!
