  • 1.  Load Balancing using EX 8200

    Hi

     

    We have to Two EX 8200 connected using XRE and from 8200's several EX 4200's ( virtual stack) and EX 4500's( virtual stack) are connected using 10Gig fiber cables ( one fiber link from each 8200 to one virtual stack and other fiber from another 8200) using AE interfaces.

     

    Please tell me the command to check on both the uplinks  in order to determine the load balancing statistics and if there are no proper load balancing then what are the commands to enable the equal load distribution and balancing.

    There is no way to check the load balancing on EX8200. You can just rely on 'show interface' counters to determine how much each interface is used.

     

    For EX8200VC, keep in mind that local bias might get into action, changing the normal load balancing algorithm.
