Native VLAN ID

I'm trying to configure an access port on an EX3300 and I get this error:

[edit interfaces ge-3/0/0 unit 0 family]
'ethernet-switching'
Access interface ge-3/0/0.0 cannot have native-vlan-id
error: configuration check-out failed

I cannot get past this to commit the changes needed

Native-VLAN-ID only applies to Trunk/Tagged interfaces, not Access (non-tagged) interfaces.  This concept cmes from Cisco, a long time ago, and is generally only required when Juniper switch/device is connected to Cisco device.

Show us configuration of this interface and we will tell what piece is causing problems

switch#show interfaces ge-3/0/0

delete interfaces ge-3/0/0

set interfaces ge-3/0/0.0 family ethernet-switching port-mode or interface-mode access (which ever command works on that device.

Are you certain it is the t interfaces ge-3/0/0 unit 0 or do you really want to configure t interfaces ge-0/0/3 unit 0 family? Sounds like ge-3/0/0 may be a trunk port already.
