Hi, I have 4 EX4200s here on the bench (although only 3 are working right now), they'll be going to our DC shortly. 2 will be stacked one atop the other, and the other 2 at the top of adjacent racks. The 2 being stacked atop each other are using the 0.5M cables that came in the box, and are connected as per the demos VCP 0 to 1 and 1 to 0 (a "master" "slave" type setup). However, this becomes a slight problem with the 2 going into adjacent racks. I got 1M VC cables for this as the next size (3M) is way too much, but this leaves the cable between the furtherest ports a bit of a stretch. Does it make any difference if I connect VCP0 to VCP0 and 1 to 1? There is a vague possibility that additional switches will be added to the stack later. Thanks Mike
