QFX5120 interface designations

‎11-08-2018 09:22 PM

Hi All,

Anyone happen to have one of these?

Ours are still a couple of weeks away and planning the cabling job now, but have suddenly wondered what the 10/25g ports and 40/100g port designations would be.

A show int terse would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Richard.

I believe for 25GE the display is also "et".

For general info I have filed a documentation PR (1399845) to get https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos/topics/concept/interfaces-interface-naming-overvie... updated with information regarding 2,5G, 5G, 25G, 40G and 50G interfaces.

Many thanks for the doc feedback/PR.  To others that read this, the more feedback is sent for various Juniper documentation, the better the documentation will be.  Having the right and full documentation will make [networking] life easier for all of us -Smiley Wink

@Jonas Hauge many thanks.
